How Crestwire handles visitor logs, update requests, and advertising-related data.
Last updated: May 13, 2026
Summary
Crestwire handles only the data needed to provide public reports, confirm operational stability, respond to update requests, and support advertising.
Information We Collect
Crestwire may store page paths, event types, browser details, referrers, and approximate request times in visitor logs. In production, IP addresses are hashed only when a configured salt is available, and raw IP addresses are intentionally not retained.
Update Requests
When you submit an update or demo request, we store your name, email, request type, and message so we can respond and track the request operationally.
Advertising and Cookies
Crestwire may use third-party advertising services such as Google AdSense. Ad providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to serve ads and measure performance.
Operational Security
The operations console and internal APIs are protected with tokens or session cookies. Public health and visitor-log APIs return limited responses so internal operating details are not exposed.
Choices and Contact
You can limit cookies in your browser settings. Questions or deletion requests for stored request details can be sent through the contact path on the updates page.
Contact
Questions about stored request details, advertising, or cookies can be sent through the contact path on the updates page.
